DANCE WITH ME 'ENRY!

HE CAME FROM OUT OF NOWHERE,

THAT ENCHANTED STAR-LIT NIGHT.

WE DANCED THE ENTIRE NIGHT AWAY,

AND HELD EACH OTHER TIGHT.

I WAS TOTALLY CAPTIVATED

BY HIS MYSTERIOUS QUIET CHARMS.

ONLY WITH HIS EYES HE SPOKE TO ME,

I KNEW HE MEANT NO HARM.

BUT, REALITY INTERRUPTED

THIS NIGHT OF TOTAL BLISS.

I SOFTLY WHISPERED, "WHAT IS YOUR NAME?"

HE REPLIED. "NO OBLO EN GA LISS"!

LOST AND FOUND

LOST A LIGHTER, WALLET, KEYS,

LOSE MY GLASSES, CONSTANTLY!

LOST AN UMBRELLA AND GOT WET,

LOST AT BINGO, LOST A BET.

LOST A PENCIL, SOCK AND GLOVE.

LOST AT CARDS, LOST IN LOVE.

LOST MY VOICE, COULDN'T SING.

LOST A CUFF LINK AND EAR RING.

MADE A CALL, LOST THE DIME.

GET LOST IN THOUGHT ALL THE TIME,

LOST A RING, A PEN AND HAT,

LOST THE DOG AND THE CAT!

LOST MY APPETITE, LOST SOME WEIGHT.

LOST TRACK OF TIME, MADE ME LATE.

LOSE MY WAY FROM TIME TO TIME,

ONCE I THOUGHT I LOST MY MIND!

LOST MY INNOCENCE AND VIRGINITY,

BUT NEVER LOST MY DIGNITY!

WHENEVER I LOSE SOMETHING,

I SEARCH IN EVERY CRANNY AND NOOK

AND IT NEVER FAILS THAT I FIND IT

IN THE VERY LAST PLACE I LOOK.

THE FEELING I GET WHEN SEARCHING

REALLY COULDN'T GET MUCH WORSE.

AND THEN I SWEAR THAT NEXT TIME,

I'LL LOOK IN THE LAST PLACE FIRST!

WORDS OF WISDOM

THOSE TIMELESS OL' ADAGES OF YESTERYEAR,

ARE PEARLS OF WISDOM THAT WE STILL HEAR.

FOR EVERYTHING WE COULD EVER DO OR SAY,

THERE IS A CLEVER PROVERB OR FITTING CLICHE.

WE HEAR THESE EXPRESSIONS ALL THE TIME.

I THOUGHT IT'D BE FUN IF I PUT THEM IN RHYME.

DO UNTO OTHERS, AS THEY WOULD UNTO YOU.

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT.

TO THINE OWN SELF BE TRUE.

NECESSITY IS THE MOTHER OF INVENTION.

THE ROAD TO HELL IS PAVED WITH GOOD INTENTIONS.

ASHES TO ASHES, DUST TO DUST.

YOU'VE NOTHING TO FEAR BUT FEAR ITSELF.

A PENNY SAVED IS A PENNY EARNED.

WASTE NOT, WANT NOT.

LIVE AND LEARN.

TOMORROW IS ANOTHER DAY.

GATHER YE ROSEBUDS WHILE YE MAY.

NEITHER A BORROWER NOR A LENDER BE.

IT IS BETTER TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE.

THE SWEETER THE ROSE, THE SHARPER THE THORN.

HELL HATH NO FURY LIKE A WOMAN SCORNED.

THE EARLY BIRD CATCHES THE WORM.

A LESSON TAUGHT IS A LESSON LEARNED.

ONE GOOD TURN DESERVES ANOTHER.

ABSENCE MAKES THE HEART GROW FONDER.

OUT OF SIGHT IS OUT OF MIND.

EVERY CLOUD HAS A SILVER LINING.

SAVE YOUR PENNYS FOR A RAINY DAY.

WHERE THERE'S A WILL,THERE'S A WAY

PEOPLE IN GLASS HOUSES SHOULDN'T THROW STONES.

MAN DOES NOT LIVE BY BREAD ALONE.

IT'S ALWAYS DARKEST BEFORE THE DAWN.

YOU NEVER MISS IT UNTIL IT'S GONE.

ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END.

FAIR THEE WELL! GOD SPEED

'TIL WE MEET AGAIN!
